State of Affairs, January
Dear Valued Members,
Happy New Year! We are so happy and excited for the future of our club and want to thank all of you and the La Jolla community for helping us progress.
Our latest upgrade, as you may know, was a new computer system, which is cloud based and extra secure for your protection as well as convenience. You can now register at https://www.myiclubonline.com/iclub/members with your agreement number (inquire at the front desk) and view or make changes to your account online.
As for securing the downstairs door, we thank you for your patience. We have gone back and forth with the manufacturers on the new scanning mechanism for checking members in and out from this door and hope to have it up and running in the next two weeks. Please stop by the front desk and make sure you have a membership card, so that you will be able to enter the club through this door. We simply cannot afford to have anyone inside of the club who is not a member.
We are still in the process of the next big move towards making this club the best place to be in all of San Diego. Therefore, we are currently negotiating upgrades to the locker rooms, flooring, and amenities in the space. With such improvements, a price increase or assessment fee will take place in 2018. With that in mind, we will let all of you know our plans well in advance with an email blast, as well as a personal letter to improve communications.
With the flu season in tow, it’s important that we wipe down all equipment after use and stay home if we are sick. Our cleaning staff does an excellent job. However, this is a community effort and we all need to work together to stay healthy. Your ideas and feedback are welcome in combatting the flu. And please remember that we can all focus our energy on preventative medicine through Patronus Medical. See them for B12 shots, IV’s and other treatments to keep you feeling at your best.
We are really excited about the year ahead and will continue to communicate with all of you about what we have in store for 2018!
