Coronavirus-free-Bodyweight-March-Madness Workout!
Coronavirus, be damned! La Jolla Sports Club puts together a March Madness-inspired bodyweight workout that you can do anywhere—even in quarantine!
First, though, how’re you feeling? Do you have a tickle in your throat? Is that body ache new? Uh oh, last time we talked, you sounded a little phlegmy. Yikes, the coronavirus is in your jeans, we recommend you stay indoors for the next five months. Are you sure you’re OK? You sound worse. Are you worse? You’re probably worse. Did you wash your hands 1,000x today? They look pretty dry.
Brought to you by Neutrogena Norwegian hand cream!
So, this coronavirus, huh (insert shrug emoji)? Not much else to add to that, except for the fact that if we all get quarantined from said coronavirus, the timing is good, because March Madness is right around the corner!
The past few years we’ve done March Madness-inspired basketball workouts, but since coronavirus is all the rage these days, we’ve put together a bodyweight workout you can do anywhere, even in quarantine! Only one of these exercises requires any equipment, so that’ll help you avoid contracting germs, real or imagined.
On a related note: THANK YOU to you amazing La Jolla Sports Club members. Our housekeeping staff and Personal Trainers have beefed up cleaning, but we’ve noticed you guys doing that, as well. It’s been incredibly helpful and another great display of your care for our community here at the Club!
Back to this March Madness bodyweight workout… Below you’ll see La Jolla Sports Club Personal Trainer, Maxx Holdreith, looking nice and laid-back, but you should plan on breaking a pretty good sweat. Treat this like a circuit and see how many you can do in 30mins. Take a breather when / if you need it, but the idea is that you are working the entire time, resting one part of the body while another goes to work.
It hopefully goes without saying, but if you have any questions, reach out to Maxx or any one of your Personal Trainers. And, of course, listen to your body! Here we go!
Thanks to Maxx for his amazing modeling skills and textbook form!
Alright, that’s it for us this post. Reminder to reach out to any of your La Jolla Sports Club Personal Trainers with any questions!
Thanks again for all of your hard work on keeping the coronavirus at bay, and enjoy the March Madness madness 🏀 Oh, and Hook ’em, Horns!
