La Jolla Sports Club has a certified sports nutritionist on staff that has put together an incredible nutrition program to help our members reach all time new levels of fitness. Make an appointment today to set up an initial assessment. Meal plans will be provided based on current nutrient deficits and personal needs. Constant contact and follow-ups will be provided to help all clients stay on track. MEET THE NUTRITIONIST
As a certified sports nutritionist, personal trainer, USA professional level 3 cycling coach, USAT certified level 1 triathlon coach, I have seen many levels of fitness. What I have learned is exercise is very important, but diet is the key to a long and healthy life.
I have spent the last 12 years competing in triathlons, finishing in the top 2% of my age group. I am a wife, mother of two grown successful children, a proud grandmother of 3 and a recent cancer patient.
My nutrition program consists of: Determine body fat and measurement, calculate BMI, BMR and daily calorie counts, create healthy eating habits and a diet plan tailored to you, recommendation for exercise and supplements, education, athlete guidance for sport specific goals using Training Peaks and support by telephone and email.
